We are all storytellers but, sometimes, the hardest part is finding the time to write your story.

Join us for an inspiring evening of fiction writing once a month for writers of any and all levels of experience. Whether you are or want to be writing novels, short stories, flash fiction or all three, come along to experiment with your narrative style in a safe, encouraging space, discover a community of local writers, and make time for your writing. Author and editor Sara Nisha Adams will lead the workshop, providing thoughtful prompts, tips and techniques to develop your prose in new and exciting ways.

There’s no pressure to share any of your work aloud. Bring along a notebook and pen (or a laptop, if that helps your creative flow best) and get ready to write in a relaxing, welcoming space. (Ages 18+)

Sara Nisha Adams is an author and editor. She worked in publishing for eight years, at Headline Publishing Group, Harvill Secker, Vintage and most recently as Editorial Director at Hodder & Stoughton, where she published authors across a range of genres. Sara’s novels include The Twilight Garden and The Reading List, a finalist in the Goodreads Choice Awards 2021 and longlisted for the Diverse Book Awards 2022. She is currently writing her third and fourth novels. Sara has led writing workshops and masterclasses for Hackney Libraries, Geneva Writers Group, Curtis Brown Creative, Writers & Artists and more.
