Hand Embroidery 8 Week Course

Join our 8 weeks course by Lady Stitch Embroidery and discover the classic craft of embroidery and create works of art one stitch at a time. The sessions will help participants to unwind and relax, while learning this ancient craft.

Starting from basic stitches to more intricate designs, you’ll learn to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces while developing your embroidery skills. In this course you will learn the basics of colour combinations and how to transfer patterns onto fabric and get inspired to create your own designs by mixing and matching drawings that will be supplied.

The embroidery will be used as an outlet for creativity and will inspire participants to connect with the present, their surroundings and their community.
No previous experience required, this course is beginners friendly and open to all.

Materials will be provided. Adults only.

Juliana, who’s behind Lady Stitch Embroidery is a graphic designer based in London.

She has worked as creative designer for corporations, charities and publishers in the UK and Europe.
More recently she decided to transition to using embroidery as a medium to foster community resilience, as it connects artistic practice with mental health and social connection.

Blending her graphic design skills with a passion for promoting wellbeing through creative expression she created Lady Stitch Embroidery, and has delivered workshops in London to various groups.
